Guidelines for the Submission of Conference Papers

 
Application for a paper to be presented at the AeSSA Conference 2017 should be submitted by means of the Submissions Form. The deadline for the submission is 25 August 2017.

The Paper’s title should be kept short and concise. This title will be used in the symposium programme should the submission be selected for presentation.

The applicant's contact email address must be supplied for any follow-up correspondence..

A summary paragraph that will be used in the symposium programme should your submission be selected must be included.  This paragraph may not exceed 100 words.

All abstracts and papers must be written and presented in English.

If accepted, the presenter must register online before 20 September 2017 in order to be included in the programme.

It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract and paper.  Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as submitted by the author.

Information for Submission of Abstracts:

The Abstract must be submitted as a MS Word or PDF document entered on the Submission Form as an unloadable file.

The main text of the abstract should not exceed 500 words or two pages including table or diagram. A single table or diagram may be included. The size of the file should not exceed 1 MB.

Abstract content

The text of the abstract should briefly state the objectives, methodology and results; and give a brief discussion of conclusions.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the AeSSA Conference 2017 Book of Abstracts. 

The submission should indicate whether the author is a registered graduate student.

The submission should indicate the thematic area under which it is submitted.

Information for Submission of Full Papers:

Full papers can be peer-reviewed by the AeSSA Annual Conference Technical Committee. Please download the template on which it must be submitted HERE. The deadline for peer review submission is 18 August 2017.
Full journal papers may be submitted via AeSSA for potential publication in the SAIMechE R&D Journal by 31 October 2017.  Instructions for authors can be found HERE.
