Wits students attend the Aviation Open Day at Lanseria airport
Wits students from the School of Mechanical, Industrial and Aeronautical Engineering arrived at the Skyhawk Aviation training school at Lanseria airport in support of the Sakhikamva Foundation. This foundation in partnership with Skyhawk Aviation is leading an initiative called the STREAM laboratory, to introduce young learners to Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Aerospace and Mathematics (STREAM) in aviation. Wits students led by aviation enthusiast and staff member, Michael Atkins, attended the Aviation Open Day on 4th May 2019.
